In addition, we are quickly expanding our assortment for the fast-growing market of industrial inkjet printing with the development of state-of-the-art printers and inks for applications such as billboards, packages and decoration.

In order to strengthen our go to market strategy, we are currently reinforcing our InkJet Sales team by hiring an Account Manager InkJet, based in Denmark, with a drive for selling our InkJet portfolio and solutions. Do you have a passion for Industrial Printing and Wide Format Printing technologies? As Account Manager, you are a driven sales person, responsible for selling Agfa’s InkJet solutions in Denmark/Sweden.

The successful candidate will be responsible to develop our InkJet Capital Equipment business in the assigned territory, incorporating all resources available to ensure success.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Delivering sales, margin and market share targets of the InkJet Product Portfolio throughout the defined geography
  • Create new business/tender opportunities for product development, including retention and development of existing contracts
  • Generate leads and develop new business opportunities within the defined region for existing and new products and services. Qualify prospects.
  • Complete all tenders and quotes, in collaboration with Sales Manager, and ensure compliance according all needs
  • Understand customer business; application; equipment, software and consumables requirements and through discussion and interaction based on knowledge and experience related to potential markets, applications and products.
  • Develop added value business proposals based on customer requirements. Present proposal including business, application, equipment, software and consumables aspects of the solution.
  • Lead the Bid process and overcome objections to successfully close the deal
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the InkJet field
  • Participation in national and international trade shows
  • Prepare and accompany customers and prospects to national and international reference site and factory visits Assure regular reporting and creation of ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Engage with Service Department to facilitate project implementation

Qualifications and Experience

Degree level preferred
Minimum of 3 years direct selling in the Wide Format market, or 5 years direct selling of Capital Equipment in the Graphics Industry, as well as experience related to cost justification of large capital investments.
The Key Account Manager must have solid knowledge of electronic equipment, systems, software, competition and market trends.

Specific Skills
You are a highly skilled individual with the presence to develop excellent client relationships at all levels of customer management. You have a proven track record in selling capital equipment. Your sales skills should include an absolute understanding of the sales cycle, including effective proposal writing and demonstration techniques.
You are a fast learner and high energy person, committed to achieve sales successes.
You have a pro-active communication reflex to ensure connection with your customer and other internal and external stakeholders. You have Excellent writing and presentation skills.
On top, you demonstrate resilience and focus when being under pressure and faced with disappointment or opposition.
You speak Danish/Swedish and English fluently and and are located conveniently in Øresund region to cover the region of Zealand in Denmark and the South of Sweden. You are willing to travel (with overnight stays) to cover the region.
